The Validation SystemYou can configure your survey so that the response a user
gives to a question is validated before the page is submitted. Any questions that fail the validation will be reposed with an alert message to inform the
user why their input was not accepted. For example, you could decide that a certain field (age for example) must be an integer, and a value between 6 and
120. That way, a respondent accidentally typing 233 instead of 23 will be prompted to re-enter his age. The validation system will let you build your own
complex validations using regular expressions, an extremely powerful system for pattern-matching familiar to users of the UNIX operating system. If you don.t
understand regular expressions, don.t worry.you are not required to use them to build sophisticated validations.but the functionality is provided for expert
users.
